Onion Mayonnaise
Beat one egg until light in blender or electric mixer.
Add, and beat in, a rounded teaspoon each of dry mustard, salt and paprika.
While beating, gradually add two cups of oil (I use canola oil). Add the first
cup very slowly, drop by drop. The second cup can be added
not quite so slowly.
Beat in one tablespoon of grated onion and two tablespoons
of lemon juice.
Refrigerate.
