Gobs or Whoopie Pies

Makes ~ 2 1/2 dozen

 

1 box devils food cake mix

2 eggs

1 cup flour

1 cup milk 

Mix well and drop by large Tbsp. onto slightly greased cookie sheet.

Spread with back of a spoon or finger slightly, so they aren't too thick.

Bake @ 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes

Remove from Pan and cool on racks.

 

When cookies are cool, fill thickly with the following mixture: 

1 stick margarine or butter

1 lb. powdered sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

1/4 tsp. salt

1 egg 

Mix thoroughly. 

Should be quite stiff and may need more powdered sugar.   Enjoy!
