Candied Pecans

1 T cold water

1 egg white

1 lb large pecan halves

1 c sugar

1 t ground cinnamon

1 t salt

Beat water and egg white until frothy. Mix well with pecans.

Combine sugar, cinnamon and salt. Mix well with pecans.

Spread on a cookie sheet.

Bake at 225 degrees for 1 hour. Stir occasionally.

 

Cinnamon pecans

 

Beat one egg white and one T cold water together until frothy. Stir in one pound pecan halves. In another bowl, mix 1 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 tablespoon cinnamon. Stir pecans into the cinnamon mixture until well coated. Spread on a cookie sheet and bake at 275 for 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes.
