Henry's First Trip by Air

A trip to Lookout Mt, Georgia
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We flew to Nashville, TN, to visit Uncle Dick and all our Griffith relatives in Georgia.
Uncle Dick met us at the airport and drove us to Lookout Mt.
Green Monkey flew with us.  Mom held onto me, and I held onto Green Monkey.

It was my first flight.

And my first visit to Tennessee and Georgia.

And the first time I let a goat lick my finger.

And this was my first time to meet my cousin Eve Wheeler and her brothers.
Eve is just three weeks older than I am.
Our mothers are first cousins.

Eve likes my hair.

We are sharing a pie pan.

Here is Eve's brother Zeke, and her grandfather.
I'm going to call him Uncle Dick, but Zeke calls him Pop.

Here are Zeke and Mimi, Eve's grandmother.
They have a creek right in the back yard.

And lots of tall trees.

Eve's brother Griff caught this little guy in his shoe.

Eve and I are riding high.

In Georgia, people have lots of dogs.

Here is Eve with a dog named Dixie.

Eve is touching my hair again.

Eve can walk.  I can go down steps by myself.

Let's play climb in and out.

Here Eve and I are with out mothers.

My thumb tastes better than your finger.
No, my finger tastes better than your thumb.
Eve and I are surrounded by dogs and love.

There are lots of fun things at Uncle Dick's house, including Uncle Dick.

Eve and I got to play with blocks.
The goal of the game is to take all the blocks out of the box and knock down any structure Mom builds.

Here is Eve's brother Zeke.

Here I am with Henry Henegar.
Two Henries are better than one.

Here I am with Cousin Jane Henegar and Mom.

Lookout Mt is fun.  I want to go back soon.
