Oliver has to keep an eye on Granddad

Mother and child have had a hard day.

Granddad never wants to miss a good nap, and around Oliver, they are rare.

Bath time at the kitchen sink.

After bath photos.
(There is nothing like hot water and strong light to bring out every blemish.)

Will someone please brush my hair and wrap me in a blanket.

Uncle Elliott gives Oliver a bottle

The big boys go fly a kite.

Henry and Granddad scream with excitement.

Linda and Anita come to visit

Anita is good at calming babies.

There, that's better.

Linda and Oliver see eye to eye.

Later Lisa comes over

And so does Ben.

Aunt Caroline is out of school for the week.

Granddad experiments with natural light.

Reba comes to visit

Prince Oliver holds court in the parlor.

Matters of state can be tedious.

Henry gets dressed up in the suit Grandmommy made for Uncle Philip.
Uncle Philip was more accommodating about wearing shoes as an essential accessory.

All dressed up at the azalea garden.

Mom is going to be really sad if you split those pants, Henry.

Elliott captures a shot of the photographer in action.

Let's pump it up a notch.

Henry was getting his fine pants too dirty, so he got to change to play clothes.  He needs a little rest, too.

But now it is time to play again and Henry gets a special moment with Mommy.

After St. Patrick's Day supper, Granddad holds Oliver.
